The experience i had from this was it was if the red color dye that in dropped into the clear water was trying to change the water, make it become more like it. Just like people in society or parents, or whoever trying to change their child or friend to become more like them or fit their ideals. Parents sometimes have a perception of what they want their child to be like and by that they create certain expectations that they want them to live up to and certain guidelines they want them to follow. That's why some people change to be like other people or be what they want.
